Jalandhar: DAV College, Jalandhar has been honoured with the prestigious Change Maker Award 2026 by the National Edutrust of India in recognition of its outstanding contribution to innovative education practices. The award celebrates the college’s remarkable initiative of transforming a conventional classroom into a dynamic and interactive Mathematics Gallery. This creative endeavour reflects the institution’s strong commitment to experiential learning, demonstrating how academic spaces can be reimagined to foster deeper conceptual understanding, curiosity, and student engagement. The project stands as a model of how innovation in infrastructure can significantly enrich the teaching-learning process.

The award was formally presented by Amanpal Ahuja, SDM Sultanpur Lodhi, who graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. In his address, he commended the college for its visionary approach towards education and encouraged students to cultivate creativity, critical thinking, and a spirit of innovation. The ceremony was presided over by Sr Vice Principal Dr Kunwer Rajeev and Vice Principal Prof Sonika Dania.
