Jalandhar: A highly successful campus recruitment drive was recently organized by South Indian Bank at DAV College, Jalandhar for the recruitment of Customer Service Associates. The drive generated great enthusiasm among students as the bank offered an attractive annual package of Rs 7.60 lakh per annum.
The recruitment process commenced in the month of February 2026 with an aptitude test conducted in the college campus by the team of South Indian Bank. Students from different streams and different colleges enthusiastically participated in the first round. The aptitude test evaluated the students’ logical reasoning, quantitative abilities, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities. Out of the these participants, Students from DAV College, jalandhar successfully qualified for the next stage of the recruitment process. The next rounds, including Group Discussion and Personal Interview, were conducted in the month of April 2026 in Chandigarh. During the Group Discussion round, students were assessed on the basis of confidence, leadership qualities, teamwork, communication skills,
and clarity of thought. After successful Group Discussion round, students were shortlisted for the Personal Interview round. After the completion of the Personal Interview round, two students were selected for the final stage. The final selection process also included a psychometric assessment to evaluate the
behavioral competencies and professional suitability of the candidates for the role of Customer Service Associate. After successfully clearing all the recruitment stages, two students from DAV College two namely Jagriti from Bcom Final year and Yashica Arora from BBA final year were finally selected for the prestigious position in South Indian Bank.
Principal Dr Anoop Kumar congratulated the selected candidates and appreciated the rigorous efforts and guidance of Dean Placements for making the recruitment drive a grand success. He further added that DAV College, Jalandhar is committed to create excellent career opportunities for its students.
Dean Placements Dr Manav Aggarwal said that more than hundred companies for recruitment and Employability Skill programs worth Rs fifty thousand for free every year are being offered to the students and number will be increased in the coming year so that students get huge opportunities for placements. Vice Principal prof Sonika Dania, Registrar Prof Ashok Kapoor, Deputy Registrar Prof Manish Khanna, Deputy Dean Placements Dr Nischay Bahl and others teachers were also present to bless the studens on this occasion.
