Focus on AI, Cyber Security, Skill Development, Foreign Languages & Industry Readiness
Ludhiana: CT University has launched a comprehensive career guidance and development initiative for students after Class 12th, aimed at helping them choose the right career direction and become future-ready professionals. As part of the initiative, the university has introduced Psychometric Assessment and Career Counselling, a 3-Week Foundation Program, Industry Exposure and Skill-Based Learning, Personality Development and Communication Training, Foreign Language Exposure, and Hands-on Training in AI, Cyber Security, Drug Analytics, and Emerging Technologies.
The Psychometric Assessment will help students identify their strengths, interests, personality traits, hidden talents, and suitable career paths through expert guidance and one-on-one counselling sessions. The 3-Week Foundation Program is designed to provide practical exposure, confidence-building, communication skills, and understanding of real-world industries and workplace expectations. The program will be available in both online and offline modes. Students attending the offline program at the university campus will receive support related to accommodation, mentorship, safety, and campus engagement. The initiative also focuses on helping students smoothly transition from school life to university life while addressing challenges such as career confusion, communication barriers, confidence issues, and emotional uncertainty. Students who successfully complete the Foundation Program will also be honoured with the “Shining Star Felicitation”, recognizing their participation, learning achievements, and commitment towards personal and professional development.
Speaking about the initiative, S. Charanjit Singh Channi said, “Our vision is to help students discover their true potential and prepare them for real-world success through practical learning, career guidance, and industry exposure.”
Dr. Manbir Singh added said, “This initiative bridges the gap between education and industry by providing hands-on exposure in future-oriented fields and skill-based learning from the beginning of a student’s academic journey.” Through this initiative, CT University aims to create awareness among students and parents about the importance of career planning, psychometric analysis, practical learning, and industry-oriented education in today’s competitive world.'
