Over 150 Teams from Across India Compete in High-Intensity 24-Hour Coding Challenge Industry Experts, Academic Leaders, and Innovators Come Together to Foster Future-Ready Technocrats
Ludhiana: The School of Engineering and Technology at CT University successfully organized the national-level 24-hour hackathon “Code Crafter 3.0” reaffirming its commitment to fostering innovation, technical excellence, and collaborative problem-solving among aspiring engineers and technology enthusiasts. The 24 Hours Event served as a dynamic platform for nurturing creativity and real-world problem-solving skills, witnessing enthusiastic participation from over 150 teams representing premier institutions from across India. Participants showcased exceptional technical competencies, innovative thinking, and hands-on coding expertise while developing solutions to contemporary challenges.
The event was graced by the esteemed presence of Chief Guest, Dr. Satish Kumar, Scientist-G, Centre of Excellence for Intelligent Sensors and Systems, CSIR-CSIO, Chandigarh. In his inaugural address, he highlighted the significance of research-driven innovation, interdisciplinary collaboration, and strong industry-academia partnerships in shaping future-ready technocrats. Organized in collaboration with leading industry and community partners, including IBM and GDG Jalandhar, the hackathon ensured a robust evaluation process. More than 20 eminent technical judges and domain experts assessed the projects on parameters such as innovation, feasibility, scalability, and technical depth.
Day 1 commenced with the inaugural ceremony, followed by preliminary rounds where participating teams presented their innovative ideas and initial prototypes. After rigorous evaluation, top-performing teams advanced to the next stages.
Day 2 witnessed the quarter-final and semi-final rounds, where participants demonstrated advanced prototypes and detailed technical implementations. The competition remained highly engaging, with insightful project demonstrations, technical discussions, and expert feedback enriching the learning experience.
The winners of Code Crafter 3.0 are as follows:

* Second Runner-Up: COER University
The event concluded on a high note, reinforcing CT University’s dedication to nurturing innovation, research aptitude, and technical excellence. Code Crafter 3.0 provided a competitive and intellectually stimulating environment for budding technocrats to enhance their problem-solving capabilities and showcase their coding talent on a national stage.
The event also witnessed the gracious presence of Chancellor S. Charanjit Singh Channi, Pro Chancellor Dr. Manbir Singh, Vice Chairman Harpreet Singh, Vice Chancellor Dr. Nitin Tandon, Registrar Sanjay Khanduri, Deputy Dean, School of Engineering and Technology, Dr. Arvind Kumar and Director DSW Er. Davinder Singh, whose support and encouragement added immense value to the occasion.
