Ludhiana: The School of Design and Innovation at CT University successfully organized its much-awaited annual fashion show, ‘MAYASSAR – The Designers Collection 2025-26’, celebrating creativity, innovation, and artistic excellence. The event brought together aspiring designers who presented a stunning blend of culture, storytelling, and contemporary fashion on the runway. Centered around the theme “Where Design Meets Destiny,” the showcase featured a wide spectrum of imaginative collections such as Sacred Lotus, Veils of Vengeance, Afro Denim Fusion, African Tribe, Thorns and Blood, and Blush Blossom, among others. Each collection reflected bold experimentation, unique narratives, and a deep understanding of design aesthetics, highlighting the students’ ability to merge emotion with modern fashion sensibilities.
The event was graced by the esteemed presence of Pro Chancellor Dr. Manbir Singh, Co Vice Chairperson Advocate Manjinder Kaur, Director DSW Er. Davinder Singh and Monu Sharma, Head of the School of Design and Innovation. Their encouragement and support added prestige to the occasion and played a crucial role in shaping the event’s success. An esteemed panel of jury members, including Talwinder Singh from Manjot Creations, renowned designer Rachit Khanna, owner of Turquoise Studio, and Dr. Harpreet and Dr. Simerjeet from KMV Jalandhar, evaluated the collections. Their expert insights and constructive feedback enriched the experience for all participants.

Pro Chancellor Dr. Manbir Singh appreciated the students’ innovation and creativity, stating that such platforms not only showcase talent but also prepare students for the dynamic fashion industry.
